David Gowing FCA - Based at the Bracknell office of Ward Williams, consultant David headed up Anson Gowing prior to their merger with Ward Williams in 2002. David has extensive commercial experience including experience at Board level for small & medium sized companies.

He has specialised in taxation for 30 years and continues to provide commercial and tax planning advice to both business and personal clients. In addition to his taxation role David undertakes trustee, forensic accounting and litigation support services.

Peter Stanger FCA - Corporate recovery consultant Peter has joined us following his retirement as joint managing partner of Wilkins Kennedy. He is a licensed insolvency practitioner. However his focus is on utilising his vast experience in assisting struggling businesses to identify and realise their potential before his insolvency qualifications are required.

Caroline Harvey - Caroline heads up Training and Research within Ward Williams HR. She is a Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP and Time-Line Therapy and is qualified in many other intervention disciplines. Caroline has been with Ward Williams for many years advising and working with clients on a variety of issues including both one-to-one help and training solutions. She is recognised as a leader in her field and is often called upon as a trusted trouble shooter for both team and personal challenges.

John Forgan FCA FCCA - A Principal lecturer at Kingston University Business School (KUBS) since 1989, John has nearly 30 years experience in the accounting profession. He also has over 15 years experience in teaching and accountancy training. At KUBS, in addition to teaching on undergraduate programmes, John has taught accounting to non-financial managers on various master's programmes including the MBA since 1990. John has also taught on MBA programmes in Russia, The Netherlands and the United States of America. Other areas of teaching interest include tax and auditing both external and internal. His main research interest has been the use of interactive computerised accounting and finance tutorials. He has advised on the development of a number of commercial packages. He is currently adapting these techniques to the study of complex systems, synergies and mergers and acquisitions.

At Ward Williams, John’s clients include public and private sector organisations where he has a particular interest in the Higher and Further Education sectors. He has worked on secondment with the Audit Commission and has experience overseas working in a number of European and Asian countries. Recently John has been involved with the design and delivery of finance training in The Office of The Deputy Prime Minister. In addition John has a high degree of experience working with small embryonic businesses providing basic business and systems advice in addition to the usual services (accounting, tax, audit, etc.) to be expected from an accountant in general practice.

John has three children and lives in Surbiton Surrey.
