Job Title: Assistant Manager
Function: Provide support to the audit team and managers
Reports to: Corporate services managers

Role Overview:
Assisting in the management of audits (approximately 60%)
Assisting mangers in managing their portfolio of clients from planning through review of audit work and finalisation and filing of accounts.

Audit senior (approximately 30%)
Fulfil the role of audit senior where required, completing files up to manager or partner review depending on job.

Admin tasks (10%)
Assisting managers with internal admin and training as the need arises.

Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the management of audits (Approx 60%)
• Liaise with clients to make arrangements for annual audit.
• Arrange for pre audit documents and correspondence
• Audit planning and planning meeting
• Management of audit team whilst conducting field work and review of audit file
• Complete audit files as necessary
• Clearing partner review points and liaising with client and partner / manager regarding finalisation and sign off
• Raising bills for audit work
• Monitoring the performance of the jobs

Audit senior (approx 30%)
• Performing role of audit senior, conducting audit work and getting file ready for manager  or partner review
• Assisting manager with final pack to client and filing of accounts and tax documents

Admin tasks (10%)
• Deal with admin tasks and internal processes as the need arises
• Assist with the training of staff
