Weybridge Community Regatta 2019
For the sixth year running Ward Williams took part in the Weybridge Community Regatta on 2nd August 2019.
The regatta is organised by Weybridge Rowing Club, along the River Thames. The Regatta was created as a community initiative for local businesses to meet, network and compete in a sporting environment.
Ward Williams put forward a team of four budding rowers. The club gave the team some training and on the big day they competed against other similar teams. Our team did exceptionally well and managed to win division B. The team was made up of: Omar Bush, Phil Glover, Ashley Clarke and Jack O’Connor.
The rest of the team came out to support the rowers and it was a great day. We hope to support the event again next year.
