As a Personal Tax ATT Trainee, you'll become part of our experienced Personal Tax team, supporting a wide variety of clients whilst learning the technical and professional skills needed to build a successful career in tax.

Do I need previous tax experience?
No. This is a trainee position, so we're looking for someone with a genuine interest in accountancy and tax, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude. Full training will be provided, and you'll learn alongside experienced members of our Personal Tax team.

What qualifications do I need?
We're looking for candidates with good academic ability, strong numerical and communication skills, and a genuine interest in accountancy and tax. Equivalent qualifications and relevant experience will all be considered.
Will I receive training?
Absolutely. From your first day you'll receive practical training, mentoring and day to day support from experienced colleagues. As your confidence and knowledge grow, you'll gradually take on more responsibility and continue developing your technical skills.
Will I receive study support?
Yes. Following the successful completion of your probation period and subject to satisfactory performance, you'll have the opportunity to move onto an ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) Training Contract, with your studies fully funded by Ward Williams.

Making Tax Digital is one of the biggest changes to the UK tax system in recent years.
