Personal Tax Adviser – Weybridge

An opportunity has now arisen for a Personal Tax Adviser to work within our Weybridge office.

Job Description

The role of the Personal Tax Adviser is to support the Tax Department and gain experience whilst studying towards the ATT/CTA Qualification.

If you are ATT qualified (or part qualified) and have experience of working in a personal tax department, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with like minded people in a stimulating environment.

Assistant to the Tax Director and direct line Tax Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Processing & reviewing self assessment tax returns
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities
  • Undertaking general tax compliance work
  • Preparing company benefit forms P11D
  • Assisting other departments with technical tax queries
  • Liaising with clients

To be considered for this opportunity you must have:  

  • Experience of working within a personal tax department environment (minimum of 2 years experience in practice)
  • ATT qualified (or part qualified)
  • Income tax, capital gains tax, property tax and inheritance tax experience


As a Tax Adviser, you will have a good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. Good organisational skills, problem solving and communication skills are also important, as is a motivated and proactive approach.
